Denton Texas is a college town, home to two colleges, so you do have a bit of a younger scene here, but there are plenty of things to do and places to eat here in Denton Texas. Denton is super walkable, so it’s a really great place to grab a bit to eat or a cup of coffee and then go exploring. A lot of the commercial space is close to the historic downtown area, which is really nice with some beautiful buildings. It makes for a great day or even a weekend out!

That being said, it is a ways out, and if you need to commute to Downtown Dallas or Fort Worth often, it might not be your best option. It does have its fair share of traffic from all the new construction happening here, so that’s something to keep in mind as well.

Denton Texas has a small-town feel and a lot of people really like that about Denton! It’s a bit of a college town with the two colleges being right inside of town, but even with that extra hustle and bustle, it’s still maintained it’s quaint small-town feel.

There’s also a fair amount of expansion happening in Denton Texas, and while that does present some of the normal concerns that come with construction around town, it also means that there’s some huge opportunities for new builds and expanded communities in Denton Texas. Denton Texas is very walkable and offers a lot of things to do, places to eat, and sites to see, all in one major area of Downtown Denton Texas. It’s especially convenient for college-aged individuals, because the college is close to downtown, making it easy to get what you need, from food to fun, no matter where you are on campus.
