The DeSoto Town Center is located at 211 E. Pleasant Run Road on the northeast corner of the intersection of Hampton and Pleasant Run Roads. The DeSoto Town Center contains the DeSoto City Hall, the DeSoto Recreation Center, The Corner Theatre, the DeSoto Public Library, the DeSoto Civic Center and the Outdoor Amphitheater. The Town Center features a variety of retail stores and parks. The City of DeSoto presents a wide range of events, festivals and celebrations all year round and there’s definitely something for everyone! Explore DeSoto’s History at the DeSoto Heritage Museum – The DeSoto Heritage Museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing the city’s rich history. The museum features exhibits on the city’s founding, early settler life, and the Civil War. Enjoy the Great Outdoors at DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge – The DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge is a great place to hike, fish, and watch wildlife. The refuge is home to a variety of plant and animal species, and offers a variety of trails for hikers of all levels.

When it’s time to take a break and experience a little community theater, the Corner Theatre in DeSoto Town Center is the place to go. A state-of-the-art performance facility, the Corner Theatre features a 165-seat black box theater with full lighting and sound capabilities. The venue hosts concerts, plays and a variety of other performances throughout the year. The Corner Theatre is also available for rental by citizens, businesses and community groups.
