It’s quite far away from Dallas – about 45 minutes – so if you need to work downtown, Celina might be a stretch.

The weather is great here which is another Pro to living in Celina Texas.  The climate in this areas is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters.

The school district has two schools, Celina High School and Celina Intermediate School. The district also serves the surrounding rural areas in eastern Collin County. Each year Celina ISD graduates more than 90% of its students who are accepted at colleges or universities across the country.

Our real estate market is healthy with many new homes being built as well as existing homes for sale. The median home price is $196,000 which makes it affordable for first-time buyers or families looking for a place to grow their family. There are some great opportunities with new construction, and it’s close to a lot of larger cities, so although it’s a bit smaller than a typical Texas town, it will be a great investment in a town with so much potential in the next 10 years. There are many brand new homes and great lot sizes around town. House values are also on the rise here, so buying in Celina Texas means making a great investment. However due to the fact that there is a lot of development going on in this town, may affect you if you’re not a fan of a little construction noise and all the other things that come along with new construction, this may not be a good fit for you.
